Jake Fiene

Operations Lead

Service Regions:

Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota

Jake Fiene brings a practical, ground-level understanding of agriculture shaped by early experience and hands-on work. He got his start in agronomy through internships and by milking cows before class while attending the University of Wisconsin–Platteville, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness in 2018.

Since joining Planet Earth Agronomy in 2020, Jake has played a central role in both operations and customer support. His work spans product formulation, manufacturing coordination, logistics, purchasing, and inventory management—ensuring products are built correctly, delivered on time, and perform as expected in the field.

Jake operates at the intersection of product development and real-world application. He works closely with growers and partners to troubleshoot challenges, align solutions with field conditions, and maintain consistency from production to application. His approach is straightforward: understand the problem, apply the right tools, and execute with precision.

Outside of work, Jake spends his time hunting, fishing, and staying active outdoors—keeping him closely connected to the environments and conditions his customers manage every day.
